Variable swapping:
In computer programming, swapping two variables specifies the mutual exchange of values of the variables. It is generally done by using a temporary variable.
For example:
data_item x := 1
data_item y := 0
swap (x, y)
After swapping:
data_item x := 0
data_item y := 1
See this example:

y = input('Enter value of y: ')
create a temporary variable and swap the values
temp = x
x = y
y = temp
print('The value of x after swapping: {}'.format(x))
print('The value of y after swapping: {}'.format(y))
