This video is a tutorial on the subset of SQL known as data manipulation language (DML). DML is concerned with inserting data into tables, updating data in table and deleting data from tables in a relational database. In this video we go through inserting data into tables one record at a time and then inserting multiple records into a table in one sql query. We then go through how to update data in database tables. Finally we learn how to delete data from database tables and the differences between delete and truncate.
This tutorial uses PostgreSQL as the database but all SQL queries will be valid for other databases such as SQL Server, MySQL and Oracle. I also use DBeaver as my database management tool.
