Javascript Animation Tutorial | Electro Cat Studios
In this introduction we look at how you can use the HTML 5 Canvas element and Javascript to create a simple animation of a ball moving from side to side.
The code takes you through how to create an HTML Canvas element and then get a context for it using Javascript. From there you are shown how to draw onto the canvas using the context. Finally it shows you a simple way to store and update a location for the object inside the update loop.
