QR Vision SS | QR Code Generator, Decoder & Real-Time Scanner | Full Stack Project | OpenCV Python
In this video, I showcase my project QR Vision SS, a full-stack QR code generation, decoding, and real-time webcam scanning web application.
The backend of this project is built using Python and FastAPI. It handles QR code generation, uploaded QR image decoding, and API communication with the frontend.
For image processing and QR decoding, I used Python-based tools such as OpenCV, Pillow, and qrcode. The project also includes real-time webcam scanning using browser-based camera access through the MediaDevices API / WebRTC, allowing QR codes to be scanned directly from the live camera stream.
The frontend is built with Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS, providing a clean and responsive interface for users.
This project helped me apply my learning from Digital Signal and Image Processing Laboratory into a practical real-world application and improved my understanding of API development, image processing, computer vision basics, frontend-backend integration, and deployment.
