INNER JOIN | DEFAULT JOIN | EQUI JOIN | ANSI JOIN | SQL JOIN
The INNER JOIN is used to retrieve the matching data from both the tables. INNER JOIN discards the non-matching rows from both the tables.

INNER JOIN UserRole UR ON U.Id = UR.UserId
INNER JOIN Role R ON UR.RoleId = R.Id
INNER JOIN is the DEFAULT JOIN, so if you will not provide any join name, it will be treated as INNER JOIN.
