In this video I will show you how to create a GET request or GET request entry point for your application with Spring Boot.

I show the difference between a GET request and a POST request, for those who are interested 😄

Then I show how to customise the controller and what the method needs for annotations.

I also show which method needs to be added to the repository so that we get the right data from the database.

I then show how to adapt the converter to create our object from the optional. Then I connect all the interfaces and classes.

Finally, I show how to test this using the Swagger UI.
