Configuring HTTPSession - Java Servlet | Java EE Tutorial (German)
Java EE Servlets: Logging in a user and keeping them logged in long-term using HTTPSession. In this video, we'll configure our HTTPSession and adapt it to our requirements.
This is what we'll cover in this Java Servlet & JSP tutorial: Staying logged in using HTTPSession.
In my Java EE tutorial, I'll show you how to create an HTTPSession in Eclipse with Tomcat to access a JSP page. We'll use a Java Servlet together and adjust the session using `request.invalidate()` and `session.setMaxInactiveInterval()`. You can then dynamically display the attributes on the JSP page.
Until we work with a real database, we'll use an alternative.
Together, we'll build a Java EE application step by step.
