Python list index Method
The index method of list in Python returns the index of the element you are looking for in the list. Alternatively, the index method returns the last occurrence of the element you are looking for if the element occurs more than once in the list. Finally, this Python list function results in a ValueError if you pass in a value to index that doesn't occur in the list.
