one2edit™ operates on a parent/child document basis.
Master documents are the parent documents, while version documents are the child documents. Version documents are clones of the master document that can be edited or translated, allowing the master document to remain unchanged. However, if required, changes made to the master documents can be pushed out to some or all version documents. This allows all editors, translators and reviewers to remain up to date with the latest source revisions.
Workflows can be applied to either master or version documents. Automated actions (e.g., pre-translation, email notification, document export) can be inserted into workflows to be triggered at various stages in the workflow. Each content groups has a separate track in the workflow, allowing for multiple job assignments within one document.
