Part 1: JavaScript String Methods | JavaScript Complete Course For Beginners
Everything in quotes are called String in JavaScript. In JavaScript String have a lot of properties and methods by which we can perform different types of operations on String.
Some of the String methods are below:
1. toUpperCase:-
Convert all string alphabets to upper case.
2. toLowerCase:-
Convert all string alphabets to lower case.
3. trim:-
Remove white spaces from start and end.
4. split:-
Convert String to array.
5. slice:-
Extract some part from a string
6. search, indexOf:-
Search some part of string and return the index number of the first character.
7. replace:-
replace some part of string with another string.
8. length:-
return the number of character of a string.
Note:- All the string's methods return new string. It doesn't change the original string.
