Part 1 of a new series on getting started with JavaScript UI programming - this video shows how to handle the "click" event on a button to change content of the HTML page. It covers basics of settings the IDE (vscode), using Live Server extension to view and test your code changes instantly, creating basic HTML page structure, adding SCRIPT tag, grabbing DOM elements by ID, attaching JavaScript functions as event listeners, and showing and hiding DOM elements by modifying their CSS style.
