Live-patching the Linux kernel with KernelCare
KernelCare, from CloudLinux, allows you to patch your Linux kernel without rebooting, to keep your server up and running even while applying a kernel patch. Unlike other solutions, KernelCare works for multiple distributions, which made it a prime candidate for me to check out for my own servers. In this video, I show off the various features, talk about my needs and whether or not this solution meets them, and I even demonstrate patching against the Crosstalk vulnerability which was recently released to the wild.
