SUMMARY:
-Lambda functions can be configured to run in a VPC to provide network control and secure access to private resources such as RDS databases, EC2 instances, and other VPC-attached resources.
-Setting up functions in a VPC require association with specified subnets and security groups.
-Each security groups and subnet combination has a hyperplane ENI and private IP that functions within the combination share to access the network from your VPC.
