Makefiles or make commands are used to automate build, test, run and other processes in the software development process. In this video, I will show an example of Makefile which we use in our open source DevHub project (link below) to automate tasks related to the Django project. Example automation targets include creating virtualenv, running projects in the Docker environment, creating migration files and migration, linter, and isort automation. Later, the same exact file will be updated to include testing and deployment steps.
