One thing we find using a minimal setup of Apache is that we have to enable everything. This I like as we then know what is happening. This includes running CGI scripts on the server for dynamic web pages. We take a look at using ScriptAlias to the CGI-BIN directory and running simple perl scripts on the apache httpd server
