Can you believe that my last tutorial is already two weeks old? So this time I prepared a closer look at vector math. Even though I am using Blender to demonstrate the different vector functions, the knowledge should be applicable to pretty much any program that lets you do vector math. And even though not all the functions are always available in every app or addon, we can achieve some of them by other means or by just knowing what mathematic formula is hiding behind them. I added a link to the blender documentation further down below. They did an amazing job of laying open the math behind a lot of the vector functions.

If you are using Blender 2.93 you will notice that there are two new vector functions: Refract and Faceforward. Even though I touch quickly onto the first one, I had to completely leave out the other one since the documentation is rather scarce and who knows if they will stay around until the final release. I might do a short video on them specifically in the future once I actually figure out what they are all about ;).

I prepared some blend files for a few of the more advanced vector functions for you to play around with. The sine wave animation, that I created for the intro/outro, is also part of this pack. Check the included README for some useful information: https://gum.co/upMXW
