CachedThreadPool is a class in the java.util.concurrent package that implements the ExecutorService interface. It is a thread pool that creates new threads as needed, and reuses previously created threads when they are available. If a thread is idle for a certain period of time (by default, 60 seconds), it is terminated and removed from the pool.
