SQL commands are used in Oracle Apex to interact with the underlying database and manipulate data. Some common SQL commands used in Oracle Apex include:

SELECT: retrieves data from one or more tables based on specific criteria.
Example: SELECT * FROM employees WHERE department_id = 10;

INSERT: adds new data to a table.
Example: INSERT INTO employees (employee_id, first_name, last_name) VALUES (100, 'John', 'Doe');

UPDATE: modifies existing data in a table.
Example: UPDATE employees SET salary = 5000 WHERE employee_id = 100;

DELETE: removes data from a table.
Example: DELETE FROM employees WHERE employee_id = 100;

CREATE TABLE: creates a new table in the database.
Example: CREATE TABLE employees (employee_id NUMBER, first_name VARCHAR2(50), last_name VARCHAR2(50), hire_date DATE, salary NUMBER);

ALTER TABLE: modifies an existing table by adding, modifying or deleting columns.
Example: ALTER TABLE employees ADD email VARCHAR2(100);

DROP TABLE: removes an existing table from the database.
Example: DROP TABLE employees;

These SQL commands can be executed in Oracle Apex using the SQL Commands page in the SQL Workshop section. The SQL Commands page allows users to enter SQL commands and execute them against the database. Users can also view the results of their SQL commands in this page.
