I introduce void functions and function calls in the Python programming language.

You can think of a function as a group of statements you can refer to by name. You can think of the function call as a statement that causes those statements to execute.

A void function is a type of function that does not "return" any data for further processing by the program.

Examples are provided in the video as well as theory.

In later parts of the series, we'll cover passing arguments into functions, value returning functions, designing modular programs using functions and hierarchy charts, and more.
