Functional Programming in JavaScript by Example
Description: In this session we’ll learn about functional JavaScript through refactoring a poker scoring game using ES6 (Javascript2015) features. We’ll learn what new features were added to support functional programming. The pros/cons of functional vs. imperative programming will be explored to understand the strengths of each style. Automated unit tests will show our progress as we simplify our code.
