Digitizing in QGIS is like becoming a digital cartographer, and it's an important skill for creating accurate and useful maps on a computer. Digitization is like drawing or tracing on a computer to create maps or diagrams. Instead of using paper and pencils, we use a computer program like QGIS to do this. So basically, digitization is analogous to what we used to do, when we had to prepare very difficult diagrams suppose of human brain. We will use a semi-transparent sheet and place on the top of our biology book and will try to trace each and every line or element. So, this is what exactly we are going to do, but digitally in QGIS.
