Immutable Data Structures
What are immutable data structures, and why use them? Immutable data disallow many types of bugs that can arise from mutable state. By preventing unintended modifications, immutable data allow us to write code that is more predictable and easier to reason about.
In this talk, we'll show you how the most common immutable data structures work and why they are not much slower than their mutable counterparts. The talk will be given from an F# perspective, but the concepts presented are language-independent.
