If you are having trouble with a jump drive or a device with embeded memory, you will at some point experience issues. Many times part of troubleshooting includes formating the device or memory, but how do you actually do this? what does it mean?

Simply put: Formatting a disk erases everything stored in it. It restores the memory to factory settings and condition.
