Data processing is the use of computers for the analysis of data. A major task in observational research is to determine as much as possible about the usefulness of the collected data. Through
systematic application of the laws of physics and the principles of statistics, the interpretation of the meaning of data can be computerized. When the number of observations is small, it may be satisfactory to match them to the adjustable parameters in known analytic solutions. However, it is common to have massive numbers of observations which contain far more information about the phenomenon than can be modeled by analytic solutions. Such massive amounts of data require both statistical reduction and the ability to compute theoretical solutions in many-parameter to be able to create models. Therefore, the aim of this video is to 1) learn about processing and analyzing the data collected through a questionnaire or measurement. 2) Look at various steps of data preparation and inspection to prepare the data for statistical analysis.
