Difference between == Operator and equals() Method in Java
In this tutorial we’re going to look at very important Java concept difference between == operator and .equals() method according to the SCJP/OCJP Exam point of view and learn it with an examples with different code snippets in detail.
In this tutorial, we are going to discuss about == operator which is meant for Reference comparison (Address Comparison) and it returns true only when two objects are pointing to the same object otherwise it will get false. .equals() method used for Content Comparison and it returns true when two objects contain same value.
