Retrocoding A Tiny RPG Engine
I was bored so I started writing a tiny retro RPG engine in Turbo Pascal 5.5. For an extra nostalgia kick I also configured DOSBOX to run in 278 cycles which (according to the forums) is near the speed of a 4.77MHz PC XT machine (although few XT machines had VGA cards :-P). Most of the video is spent on me talking with the single character in there. No combat at the moment.
