Top basic Linux commands which you should know as a beginner.

Linux cmd has 3 part :
cmd -option argument for eg. ls -lh

lets see the cmds and options practically (i will show u basic cmds you can
practice with your linux)

mkdir- make directory :dir created
touch - Create a empty file
cat -concatenate (you can read contenet or edit content)
ls - list of content ls -l measn long listing
rmdir - remove directory :dir deleted
man - manual : manual shows full des of cmd
less - showing contenet page-wise easy to read content
tail - showing 10 lines from end by default
head -showing upper 10 lines by default
rm -remove the file
mv -move files or rename files
history -showing history of commands
grep - searching for a string
ps -showing process
env - environment variable
top - showing top processes including cpu process
ip address - showing ip address
df - Disk free
du -Disk usage
groups- showing user grps.
useradd - adding users
groupadd - adding in grps
chmod - change the permissions of files
chgrp - change the file grp
chown- changing the file owner
nslookup - dns lookup
kill -kill the process
netstat -showing all open connection & routes
