One of the questions that I get on a regular basis is how to I communicate with a server over the internet with Unity. To be honest, there is no one answer as there are just to many things that are different from server to server. There is already a great script on the Unity Wiki that shows a basic way to save a high score to a database. Now this has been the script that I always referred people to when I get the question, but here is a more stripped down version of the script for those that still have a little bit of a problem with the wiki version.
