A Spectrogram is a visual representation of the spectrum of frequencies of a signal as it varies with time. A spectrogram is usually depicted as a picture with amplitude displayed by varying the color or brightness. In automotive acoustics, a spectrogram is often referred to as Colormap or Campbell plot.
