Loop Tempo Changes
Demonstration of tempo changes using two loop types: Wav and Rex. First each is played at the original tempo of quarter=130, then each is played at quarter=100 and quarter=40. When the Wav file is slowed down (time stretched) the sound quality degrades, acquiring various artifacts from the process. When the Rex file is slowed down, the slices of the file are moved farther apart, leaving gaps/silences between the slice, though the sound quality of the individual slices remains fine. In both cases, modest tempo changes sound OK, but extreme ones introduce sound issues of one type or another.
