Learn Base SAS Programming

The program is online and self-guided. It is composed of 8 lessons for a total duration of 6h of learnings. Each lesson is a 30 to 45 min video, 1 to 3 homework exercises and a quizz.
Taught by Jennifer Kang, Senior Statistician at Genentech, this 8-week “Base Clinical SAS Programming” course will introduce attendees to the basics of Clinical SAS Programming. This online and self-paced class aims at preparing students for the Base SAS Certification by the SAS Institute.
No experience with SAS is required for the class, however basic computer skills are required and notions in statistics are helpful.
Students are given access to the SAS On Demand software to encourage practice between classes and to complete weekly assignments.
During this course, attendees will import and export raw data files, manipulate and transform data, combine SAS data sets, create basic detail and summary reports using SAS procedures, identify and correct data, syntax and programming logic errors, and learn to use Output Delivery System.
