Recently, a customer informed us that they were struggling to hire and retain skilled orbital welders. The customer wanted to know whether engineers could remotely program all welding parameters from the office, leaving welders to handle basic welding tasks.
With Virtual Networking Computing (VNC) on the Orbitalum OM180 Smart Welder, this is now possible! Here's how you can streamline operations👇
1️⃣ Ensure both the welding machine and your laptop are on the same network.
2️⃣ Download the VNC app on your laptop, and connect to the OM180 Smart Welder's IP address.
3️⃣ Gain remote access to adjust welding parameters and system settings directly from your laptop.
4️⃣ Please note, for safety reasons, starting the welding arc remains the responsibility of the on-site welder.
