This is a quick tutorial on how to move around the file/directory structure within Linux CLI.

We are all different of course and I learn just as well visually, so I think this video should help you navigate around the Linux CLI. In this video, you will be able to:

Change file permissions.
Change folder locations.
Change file/folder ownership.
Create files and edit very quickly.

00:00 - Linux file/folder commands
00:05 - cd~ and cd/ - Changing the directory you are in.
00:43 - cd ../.. and cd /(folder_name)
01:34 - chown - This command will change the ownership of the target file or directory.
02:32 - chmod - With this command, we can alter the permissions of a file or directory so that a particular user or group can be allowed access.
03:37 - touch and nano - We can create files very quickly with touch (eg. touch filename.txt) and then we can edit on the fly with nano editor.
