Welcome to the second part of the React Native course. At this stage, we will skip the installation process and the basic configurations for your iOS and Android app. If you're new to React Native and haven't taken the [first part](https://designcode.io/unity-for-desig..., I suggest that you get familiar with it first. In this section, we'll learn how to create gestures for your app, code a beautiful login experience and publish your app to the App Store.
Diving Deeper into React Native
The first part touched a lot on the UI, animations and light aspect of data, using libraries like [Styled Components](https://www.styled-components.com), [Expo](https://expo.io), [Redux](https://redux.js.org), [Apollo](https://www.apollographql.com) and [Contentful](https://www.contentful.com). As always, courses on Design+Code are all about the workflow and building your app from zero, from the perspective of a designer. The goal is to get you familiar with the platform and the tools, and allow you to collaborate better with engineers.
First, we'll create some [gesture interactions](https://facebook.github.io/react-nati...) within the app and transition nicely to a full card. Since animated assets can save so much implementation time, I believe that it's crucial to learn how to use [Lottie](https://lottiefiles.com) files. We'll also learn how create a beautiful sign up and login experience using forms and [Firebase](https://firebase.google.com) authentication. Finally, it'll be time to publish our app to the Android and iOS app stores.
