In this video, we'll create a web page that displays a ticking clock that displays initially in 12-hour time format with A.M. and P.M. identifiers. The page will also include a button, that when clicked, will cause the time to display in 24-hour format (e.g., 1:00 P.M. = 13:00).
The purpose of this video and the videos that follow in this playlist is to continue to learn about and become more comfortable with JavaScript as we build more and more complex web pages.
Foreshadowing the next playlist, we will then combine what we learned in basic web development and this intermediate development playlist in the advanced development series to create full-stack web applications with both a frontend and a backend using a JavaScript framework, namely, React.
** Update **
In the video, I remove the "24-hr" text for the button on the page. But that causes a problem because when the page initially loads, it will not display "24-hr" or "12-hr," so, I added that back into the button's text and updated the HTML file at the link below.
