Your NestJS server and Postgres database are running, but they have never communicated. This episode fixes that by introducing Prisma, and by the end you have real database tables created without a single line of hand-written SQL.

We set up Prisma inside a NestJS project, write our first schema, run a migration, and generate the Prisma client. You will also see how to inject the Prisma service cleanly into NestJS modules so it feels like a first-class citizen of the framework.
