In this episode of unity open world tutorial series, I am going to show you how to implement a foot IK system to place the foots firmly on the ground when the character is on an uneven surface. The method I am going to follow is, using a physics line cast, detect the exact position of the ground that the foot needs to be moved and then using the ik system, move the foot to the desired location with the necessary corrections to the character mesh location.
