Hello everyone, and welcome to my channel. This video is a DIY Workbench Tutorial. I will show you step by step how I made this wooden workbench. It has plenty of storage space, using pegboard to stay well organized, and a shelf underneath that is recessed and still allows you to sit at the work station. Lumber and Sizes:
(12) 2 x 4 x 8
(2) 3/4" plywood 4 x 8 sheet
pegboard 4 x 8 sheet
Dimensions:
Front legs (4) 2 x 4 x 3ft
Back Legs (2) 2 x 4 x 3ft and (2) 2 x 4 x 6ft
Side rails : top and bottom (4) 2 x 4 x 25"
Front and back rails (2) 2 x 4 x 52 1/2"
Top Board between the top of two 6 ft pieces and bottom piece in back for bottom shelf (2) 2 x 4 x 48 3/4"
Rail on bottom for the front of shelf 2 x 4 x 52 1/2"
Table Top 3/4" plywood 57 1/2" x 34 1/2"
Bottom Shelf 3/4" plywood 55 1/2" x 23 1/4"
Back Brace for pegboard (1) 2 x 4 x 32 3/4"
Pegboard 55 1/2" x 35 1/4"
Braces under table top for support (2) 2 x 4 x 29 1/8"
Tools and Supplies Used:
Miter Saw, Circular Saw, Hand Saw, Drill, Kreg Jig, Kreg Jig Screws (2 1/2"), Wood Screws (1 1/2") and 2", Clamp, Chalk Line, pegboard hooks, safety glasses, tape measure, and pencil.
You do not have to use a Kreg Jig, you could use wood screws instead and drill from the outside of the 2 x 4's to join the wood together. I just prefer the Kreg Jig.

I completed this project in less than 6 hours (including fixing my mistake on the leg) completely by myself. I hope this inspires you to create something for your home.
