1. Self Join is the event of joining a table to itself (in a sense, recursively), to extract data and reference other, corresponding areas of the table
2. Self Join is not exactly a type of join, as it is simply an Inner Self Join, Outer Self Join (Left, Right and Full), or Cross Self Join.
