3 digit binary countdown with LEDs, Raspberry Pi & Python 3

Circuit: 3 LEDs, positive ends connected to pins 18, 15, 14; negative ends connected to ground thru 470ohm resistors.
My first breadboard project with RPi after getting an individual LED to blink.
I've used a bit of an overkill of a jumper setup to make it "neater", for some definition of "neat".
What happens in video: First, a bit of silliness as we set all output pins to low: LEDs blink one after anoter, then they blink twice synchronously. Then an infinite countdown loop starts, which counts from 7 down to 0 in binary and restarts, each LED representing one digit.
Items:
4 female to male jumpers (3 GPIO 1 Ground)
3 male to male jumpers (optional)
3 solid core jumpers (optional)
3 470ohm resistors
3 LEDs
