FiTech injector fail
watch Justin as he battles a fuel injection issue on his FiTech meanstreet. Turns out that an injector stuck open causing a major flood situation requiring the oil and filter to be changed. This could cause severe engine damage if the fuel washes down the cylinder walls....
The cost of the two injectors was just around 100 bucks US with shipping and my time, most frustrating part was not being able to go driving.
This vid gives a rundown on how to change a Fitech throttle body injector.
The unit was installed in 2018 but only run for a few small trips around town because of other work that was being completed
They are very similar to an ls3 injector and if there are any other issues I am going to buy an ls injector to see if it is possible to modify them to use in our Fitech's that way we would have an over the counter alternative.
