Database Designer – Instantly Generate DBs, Docs & C# Dapper Objects
After working on several projects, I realized that I hated setting up databases—especially writing documentation and making everything work with an API. It was a frustrating process.
That's why I started developing what was initially meant to be an internal R&D tool. But after a few weeks, it evolved into something much bigger!
Introducing Database Designer—a tool that lets you create PostgreSQL databases without writing any code! It automatically generates SQL, documentation, and Dapper-friendly C# classes for you.
The documentation is automatically created in a Markdown Format and exported as a .txt
The SQL file is generated alongside things like
-- Schemas
-- Tables
-- References and
-- Indexes
The C# Classes are made to be Dapper Friendly, with easy integration in mind
Database Designer is built to use Pariah Cybersecurity v2, an unreleased PQC Library By Walker Industries
In the GUI version, you will be able to customize database side functions (Like authorization and displaying profile information)
I'll be sharing more details soon, but I wanted to give a sneak peek at what’s in development. My current focus is replacing the terminal-based interface with a proper GUI (and more functions) atop fixing a few suboptimal code snippets.
I’m aiming to release everything before the end of April as a free to use Open Source tool!
