Today let us how to create a age calculator app in Android
1.Create an new project
2.Select Empty Activity
3.Enter the name and select kitkat as minimum sdk to use the app in more number of mobiles
4.Now android will create all the respective project files such as Manifest , Build files , Java files ,XML etc.
5.After the project is loaded
6.Take the xml of Main Activity and create a textbox to take a date
7.So using that we will take the date of birth as input
9.Create a button also in same xml so that after entering the date user will click on Button to calculate the age
10.Thats it.
11.Let us start the pratical now.
12.Created the controls in xml let us change the height and width and text size etc to make it look more attractive and simple
13.Now open the java and create the objects for the same
14.For example giving the date as 20/06/2000
15.As toast we were unable to see lets keep a alert dailog so that it can be visible clearly
