How to create a java program in notepad and command prompt. This First Java Program called Hello World in Java uses notepad text editor to write the Java code. To compile and run the program, you need to open command prompt or a terminal and run the javac command for compiling the Java source code. Then run the java command for running the compiled .class file create after running the javac command in the previous step.
