In this tutorial I'll show you how to animate tricky cursive fonts using the echo effect in After Effects.

This isn't for begiinners, so if you're struggling I recommend watching the first few tutorials on my channel: "3 ways to Animate type in After Effects", you can find the first one here:

This is meant as an alternative method to the "hard" method of splitting characters and using mattes on certain handwritten / cursive fonts.

I mean, however you do it, it's going to be hard work. But I think overall I prefer this method.
