🖥️ Mutable and Immutable Objects in Python

When choosing a Data or Collection Type, it is useful to understand the properties of that type. Choosing the right type for a particular Data Set could mean an increase in efficiency, or in security. In fact: Objects of all these types are stored in a computer's memory, for processing. Some of these values can be modified during processing (mutable) , but contents of others cannot be altered (immutable) once they are created in the memory.

○ Number values, Strings and Tuple are IMMUTABLE, which means their contents cannot be altered after creation ;

○ Collection of items in a List or Dictionary object can be modified. It is possible to add, delete, insert and even rearrange items. Hence, they are MUTABLE objects.
