In JavaScript to validate the email id we use regex code - /^\w+([\.-]?\w+)*@\w+([\.-]?\w+)*(\.\w{2,3})+$/;
this regular expression in used to check that email id must contains @ and .com and more while validating the html email filed.
JavaScript is very useful for client side validation of html forms.
