► JavaScript variables must be identified with unique names (or they won't get used, see 4:34 Re-declaring variables).
► The general rules for variable namecreation are:
★ Names can contain letters, digits, underscores, and dollar signs.
★ Names must begin with a letter.
★ Names can also begin with $ and _.
★ Names are case-sensitive (item and Item are two different variables).
★ Reserved keywords cannot be used as names (such as var and boolean).
