While we are at it, let’s go ahead and create a project that will assist us to debug Gulp files. It is, by far the easiest way that I know to step into the code of a Gulp file. Gulp files use Node, so it makes sense to add to the Visual Studio solution, a Node console application. So let’s do that now.
Right click on the solution and choose “Add”. “New project”. Then scroll down and choose TypeScript. Select “Blank Node.js Console Application. Give it a name. Then click OK. Now we have created the Visual Studio solution for the Angular.Net Starter app. Next, let’s look at the project layout.
