Additionally, a halfway offset is needed, which involves selecting the inner path and using a negative offset of 0.9\". By calculating 0.9 divided by two, the value 0.45 is obtained for the halfway offset. This new inner path is created without a fill, leaving only the line visible. This line will be used to create text on a path, which will be placed around the shield. The process emphasizes the flexibility of adjusting offsets and the utility of using mathematical calculations to achieve precise design elements.
